When developing the fire-resistant Sparco underwear Shield RW-9 , the driver's comfort was the top priority. Design and cut follow the natural body shape and thus offer the greatest possible freedom of movement. The almost seamless workmanship and the body-hugging shape of the underwear minimize pressure points and also increase comfort. The seamless design is rounded off by labels printed on the surface, which instead of the usual sewn-on logos and labels do not apply or are annoying.
The high-tech underwear from Nomex
Since heat exchange is of central importance for top athletes, a new fiber was developed that removes sweat as quickly as possible. With a weight of 180 g per square meter, the new fabric is extremely light and barely noticeable on the skin. The Shield RW-9 underwear was also equipped with the proven X-Cool treatment.
The X-Cool coating
The X-Cool coating causes menthol particles to be released from the fibers as the temperature rises, creating a pleasantly cool feeling on the skin. This effect is retained over a long period of time and continues even after frequent washing.
